Description
In the Greek Mythology, Zeus held a banquet in celebration of the marriage of Peleus and Thetis, but did not invite Eris, the Goddess of Discord, for her troublesome nature. In revenge, she threw a golden apple into the ceremony with an inscription that read: To the most beautiful. Three goddesses claimed the apple: Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. The argument was so intense that in the end it caused the Trojan War.Category
