Description

Evil entity from Japanese folklore and mythology, they appear as a giant fearsome man’s head trapped within a flaming ox-cart wheel. It is said that he steals the soul of those who have the misfortune to meet him. An Ancient legend traces the origin of the Wanyūdō to a tyrant Daimyo, a powerful feudal Japanese lord, known for having his victims drawn on the back of an oxcart. For his wrong-doings, he became this monstrousity.
